Afnic renewed as registry for .fr

The precise terms and conditions for implementing Afnic’s proposals for the management and development of .fr are currently being drafted as part of a new agreement that will take effect on July 1, 2022 for a period of 5 years.

Afnic is the Internet registry for .fr (France), .re (Ile de la Réunion), .pm (Saint-Pierre et Miquelon), .yt (Mayotte), .wf and .tf domain names.

Afnic donates most of the profits from .fr to the Afnic Foundation for Digital Solidarity, created in 2015.
