Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Tuesday, October 20th , 2021

We broke our streak yesterday of 5 years without missing a post. It was bound to happen. I can’t do it 7 days a week and Josh works a crazy schedule. Has for years. He is a paramedic. Like pretty much every entity in this country, they are are understaffed and he’s working more hours than the body can take. There’s been many a day I can see him working on the post at 4 am. Of course me being up at 4 am is a little crazy too. Except I am getting up and he hasn’t gone to bed. We’ll get the streak going again today and hope we can do it another 5 years.

On a side note, I did two sales the same day. One through Dan and one through Both went well. Escrow has gotten pretty automated but they don’t have their own registrar like Dan so Dan has an advantage. They know the name has been transferred because its in their account and they can get you paid immediately. But both were good and as quick as the people participating in the sale make it. Nice to actually have sold a few names to give them both a test.

Domain of the Day: top price and number of bids on the Godaddy board today. Shows you the 8 figure value of

Click on any of the links to see current price Names at Auction Funny how the term Whale came into so much prominence this year Also a hot name Taken since 2015 which is ancient for a dot vc Exactly the type of name that is built out on dot io Not normally the kind of name on a dot io. Keyword is worth a look though

Namejet, Sedo, and Names at Auction Hmmmmm. You miss all the shots you never take With a reserve under $5K it is a little enticing Exudes standing out from the crowd Catched catches another meta name Blockchain pro Taken in 247 extensions. My OPINION only but worth the $226 bid Was wondering if anyone knew the word but at 206 registrations I think my questions is answered Modern tech and dot io are friends Its a dot info but Give is a pretty strong word Upgrade name for a lot of small businesses Only taken in 5 extensions but cool brand If it makes a good IPA it makes a good brand . I’d drink this Gambling is as big as its ever been Another cool one. Taken in 21 extensions Picked up a few more bidders. Get in on that fast 5G Most of the big priced names are going to struggle making reserve but this one has a chance 18 years old. No bids at $79

Godaddy Domains With Bids This one in doing better than I thought it would. Taken in 29 extensions, 1998 birthday. But price is already over $2K at press time “scenery” or “sights’ in Chinese Sun is a top 20 word in naming IMO A bit generic but it tells you what they do It’s all Moms world. We’re just living in it Cheap call to action car finding name French Mexican Taken in 188 extensions so the dot org definitely has some value Seamless gutter domain all the way I don’t know what it will be but I know it involved water and bags Sounds dirty Political and org are a perfect combo. Add in the backlinks and this is easily one of the better names on the board Credit builder Those golf maxis spend a ton on golf clubs Makes it sound like they did some kind of vetting. Better than SomethingofftheshelfMedicine
