Sedo announced the addition of six new payment options for domain name buyers using its platform. According to a representative from Sedo, “[T]hese additional payment methods are particularly advantageous for domain sellers: they ensure that buyers worldwide can now choose their preferred local payment method, making it even easier to purchase domains.”
Buyers can now purchase domain names using these six options:
- American Express (CC)
- Cartes Bancaires (CC)
- iDeal
- Trustly
- giropay
- Klarna Pay Now
Notably, the addition of Klarna does not appear to be the buy now pay later option. The addition of this option would be helpful to buyers who want to pay for their domain name purchases over time. GoDaddy recently introduced Klarna’s BNPL option to buyers at Afternic.
With the addition of these six payment options, Sedo now offers a total of 12 payment options for buyers. You can see view more details about payment options on Sedo’s website.
Proceeds from sales will still be distributed to sellers in their preferred currency.
