A website went live today and it looks like the site is going to be a service to provide another avenue for content creators and publishers to get paid. Just create content, publish it and interact with your fanbase.
The buyer is out of Germany, Fanbase GmbH. Checking out the USPTO website there are 6 live trademarks for Fanbase.
Two weeks after the Fanbase.com auction ended, Fanbase.ch sold for $3,466 on Sedo. Checking .ch whois they acquired that domain name as well. Nameservers not updated yet.
